Simple Multilang is a performance-first WordPress multilingual engine: unlimited languages, flexible URL modes, hreflang, multilang sitemaps, and optional headless REST export in the free core. Premium adds machine translation, visual editing, builder workflows, licensed headless export on Pro+, and Business-tier commerce, webhooks, and cookie/geo detection. Licenses are validated externally — not sold via fake checkout on this page.

How licensing works
From external purchase to an active license
There is no fake Stripe checkout here. Buy a license externally, install the Premium add-on, paste your key in wp-admin, and the license server validates it via https://maksut.net/simple-multilang-premium/update-check.

Install the free core and Premium add-on
Upload both plugins to WordPress. The free core handles routing, hreflang, and sitemaps; Premium unlocks translation and commerce features.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes the full multilingual engine: unlimited languages, path/query/subdomain/domain URL modes, hreflang, multilang sitemap, translation groups, menu sync, and headless REST export in core (subject to login policy). Pro adds machine translation, visual front-end editing, page-builder draft translation, per-language SEO meta, slug routes, richer WooCommerce product fields, and licensed headless export.
How does headless REST export work across tiers?
The free core ships REST export endpoints. With Premium installed, valid Pro, Business, and Agency baselines include headless_export. If the license server strips that feature, export is blocked. An unlicensed Premium add-on must not break free export.
Do I need Business for WooCommerce?
Pro covers basic WooCommerce product fields at the CPT level. Business adds advanced per-language commerce: pricing, stock sync, variations, cart behavior, plus webhooks and language analytics. Choose Business when you run a multilingual store, not just translated product pages.
Path prefix vs subdomain vs domain mapping?
Free tier uses path prefixes (/en/, /tr/) out of the box and can enable ?lang=, subdomain, or domain mapping under Simple Multilang → URL language modes (DNS/TLS required for host modes). Cookie and country detection remain Premium Business+.
What happens when my license expires?
Your translations and language structure remain in the database — nothing is deleted. Premium-only features lock until you renew; the free core keeps serving published multilingual URLs, hreflang, and sitemaps. Re-activate anytime by pasting a valid key.
What is the Agency plan?
Agency shares the Business capability baseline in code. Differentiation is commercial: multi-site seats, support packaging, and license-server entitlements. Contact us for agency pricing — there is no self-serve Stripe SKU on this page.
Is there checkout on maksut.net?
No in-plugin or on-page Stripe checkout for Simple Multilang licenses today. Buy externally, then paste the key in wp-admin. This page compares tiers; the license server validates keys via SML_PREMIUM_UPDATE_URL.
