Settings reference

All configuration lives on one screen, WooCommerce → Price Anchor, split into two free tabs — Settings and Sync — plus the Pro tabs when Pro is active.

Currencies

Primary source currency

The one foreign currency the free plugin can anchor products to. Selecting it is what enables exchange-rate fetching and anchored pricing at all; until a valid source currency is chosen, rate fetching and repricing stay paused and every product keeps its native WooCommerce price.

Your store currency never appears in this list. If a WooCommerce currency change would make the selected source equal to the store currency, Price Anchor resets source pricing safely rather than repricing everything by a factor of one.

Exchange rates

Rate source

Frankfurter (default), TCMB (TRY stores only) or Manual. Pro adds a keyed commercial provider and an automatic failover chain. See Rate sources.

Manual rates

Only relevant when the Manual provider is selected. You enter the rate yourself and nothing is ever fetched. Use this when the site must not contact an external service at all, or when your finance team fixes an internal rate.

Refresh rates

Hourly, twice daily or daily. This is the only control over how often Price Anchor asks the rate source for new numbers. There is no custom day count.

Warn when rates are older than

Display only. Shows a warning banner when the last successful fetch is older than this many hours. It does not change how often rates are fetched — that is Refresh rates above. The default is 48 hours. Confusing these two is the single most common configuration mistake with this plugin.

Flag rate moves larger than

A percentage. A jump larger than this is recorded in the log as suspicious, and the rate is still applied. The free plugin observes; it does not block. Pro’s Rate Guard is the feature that actually holds a large move for approval before it reaches the catalogue.

Pricing

Markup

A percentage added on top of the exchange rate, per source currency. It exists to absorb payment fees and rate movement between refreshes. See Markup.

Rounding

How the calculated number is finished. See Rounding rules.

Data

Delete data on uninstall

Off by default. When on, deleting the plugin also removes the source prices stored on products. Order records are never removed under any setting. Leaving this off means you can uninstall, reinstall and pick up where you left off.

The Sync tab

Shows the current rate table with its source and age, the state of the repricing job, a manual resync control and any stale-rate warning. A pass that has been requested but not yet picked up by background processing is labelled Queued; once it starts it is Running with progress; the worker that processes the terminal batch commits Done immediately rather than waiting for another cron tick.
